Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors and sponsors, the Centennial Airport Runway 5K has grown into something truly impactful—and it’s coming back in 2026!
What started as a single race has quickly become a powerful driver of opportunity for the future of aviation. Thanks to the success of our first two Runway 5K events, Centennial Airport proudly launched its very own Scholarship Program, made possible entirely by donors and Runway 5K supporters.
By supporting the 2026 Runway 5K you’re directly investing in the next generation of aviation and aerospace professionals, helping them turn passion into a career.
With your support, we helped launch their futures and strengthened the aviation industry from the ground up. The 2025 Foundation Scholarship recipients are (left to right): Tatum Rasmussen, recipient of the Aircraft Maintenance/A&P Mechanic Scholarship, who will pursue her education at Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology. Alexander Buchanan, awarded the Professional Pilot Scholarship, who will continue his flight training at Western Air Flight Academy. Jacob Ablanczy, selected for the Scholarship for Aviation Management, who will study at Metropolitan State University of Denver.
